Our Ambassadors

Our Ambassadors

RSE is fortunate to have the support of two wonderful Ambassadors who share their time and talent to help raise awareness of road safety issues and the need for youth road safety education.

As Ambassadors of RYDA, they play a vital role, in promoting the value of youth education, engaging with our students and key stakeholders and reaching out to their own extensive networks to promote our vision of zero youth road trauma. Both of our Ambassadors have been touched by road trauma and both serve as an important reminder that behind the road toll are the mums, dads, brothers, sisters, extended families and loving friends left behind the first responders and a broad community of people impacted and of course, the dreams never to be realised from a life cut short

Peter Frazer OAM

Peter Frazer OAM

Peter Frazer is a leading advocate for road safety and a driving force behind National Yellow Ribbon Road Safety Week in Australia.

Peter’s road safety journey began with the tragic loss of his daughter in 2012. On her way to Wagga Wagga to start a degree in photography at Charles Sturt University, Sarah’s car broke down on a busy freeway. As the two truck operator was securing the car, a passing truck side-swiped Sarah’s vehicle and collided with them both, killing them instantly.

Peter and his family later established the SARAH (Safer Australian Roads and Highways) Group with a mission to promote initiatives that will bring about improved road safety, as well as support those affected by road tragedy. He has worked tirelessly and successfully to effect change in policy and legislation, renew infrastructure and call for drivers to take responsibility for their actions on our roads and highways.

Andrew Morley

Andrew Morley

Andrew Morley is a popular Australia actor who has starred in Home & Away and Neighbours and is currently working as a fire fighter with the Country Fire Authority (CFA).

Andrew comes to RSE with a unique perspective; in his role with the CFA, he has had the unfortunate duty to attend many crash scenes. He’s also the survivor of a serious crash that occurred when he was a novice driver who fell asleep behind the wheel on his way to work.

In Andrew, RSE has an Ambassador who not only relates to our young audience, but also has a genuine motivation to make a real difference in this area. In his words, “We all have a responsibility when we are on the roads, and I have an added responsibility to be a role model for my supporters as they are often the most vulnerable”.
